This is my favorite manga ever! I really like the Heroine. The drawings awesome, especially the fighting scene that made you jump, unlike the others that are all pow pow and it's done but here it's not.
I can't move on on this even though it was discounted way way back. LOOL
I just want to read to know what will happen. Story line is fine for me I just want to kknow what will happen because the heroine is so unique~. So depressing~.

This has been on hiatus for years because of the author has been ill. It's unknown if this will be updated, or how well she's doing. This is the only problem I have with it since it's stopped for years.

On the other hand, this story is great. I wish to find more stories like this with reverse roles. This story has so many things that makes me smile; like them being childhood friends and the male falling first. The two characters are different in their own way, each with a new personally (which I love!). I really hope the author gets better and continued this wonderful read.

I LOVE this manga! Taehee's personality is refreshing, even for a genderbender manga. She is blunt, insensitive, and open. She does not dislike herself like some genderbenders, where the manly girl whines about how she wishes she was girlly girlly. I reread this manga many times, even though it is on hiatus I still recommend this manga! The parts released as still a great read.

I really hope she does not end up with the arrogant "badboy" president though, I am very tired of those kinds of love interests. This manga is so refreshing, I really hope it does not have a typical ending where the girls finds some guy whos super manly, stronger than her, arrogant, badboy delinquent ETC ETC ETC. She takes pride in her fighting, being humiliated by him in that fight, it annoys me to think that she would like him for that. I am tired of those kind of love interests where the guy ALWAYS has to be stronger than the girl. I rather she end up with the feminine Sul, he really does look out for her, and they have such a cute history.

This manga has EVERYTHING I could possibly want, and none of it can be found anywhere else!!

Beautiful art, and cute at appropriate times
STRONG heroine triple cheers Good lord, that is SO hard to find elsewhere. I NEED strong female leads because the majority of female leads depress me. But this... happy content sigh
HOT male lead (?) Well, potential male lead. Ahhh, it makes my brain melt.
Humor that's actually funny. Imagine that.

And of course.... this project is dropped. Just my luck.

I really liked this series at first. Love the art, adore Yoon Sul, and like how tough Taehee is. But as soon as Sijun stole her away, I had a hard time reading it. Why does the girl, even the tough one, have to fall for the arrogant, 'super hot popular' guy? I desperately hope that Taehee dumps him and ends up with Yoon Sul. Otherwise I'll feel that reading this was a big waste of my time. (Sorry to sound so negative, I'm just not much of a typical shoujo romance fan.) I read this because I like gender bender and girls that can fight, but I feel that it kind of went downhill. I just hope the ending goes up (if there ever is an ending). =/ After all, I really do adore Yoon Sul, and those types of guys are my favorite. ^^

Many are asking why this is taking so long to update... the fact is that the Author quit making them due to illness.. it is unclear as to her status however she has been ill for over 6 years so it is assumed to be life threatening. The likelyhood that there will ever be a new release is very slim, Fans should consider this to be a "dropped" manga---wich sucks =[

it has great art and characters. i'm so sick of the weak cute girl types that cry n need help with every little thing. I mean its cute and all but theres an overkill amount of them. so she is so refreshing. I started it a long time ago, but its still on vol 4, so i am super sad. I was hoping it would be complete by now so i could read it all in one go...boo. plz get better!

ok..as u can tell..i LOVE Tvanilla ice...Y might u ask...well..first off all..the drawing is just sooo awsome! my heart beats fast when i look at iT! and second of all...taehee is just tooo awsoome ..well did i mention awsome!! she is NOT ur typical shoujo character! which i love...i love the fighting and well..i love how she is sooo powerful! and yet she is not barbaric! so if u like reading Gender bender...i will suggest this one because well..u will know once u acutally read it. it's ok tat its on hiatus because the author is not well, but well all ( her fans ) wish for her to get well SOOOn!!

It has really good art. Which is kinda rare for manhwa, you know. And it's so amusing too!
I loved it. I usually hate gender benders. But it rocked.
Sucks that the author is sick. I hope she's better!

Also the art is sooo cute sometimes! Haha! For Sijun and Taehee especially. When the author does like 'chibi'. Yeah.

I've got a lot of fun to read this manwha, I properly laughted without care in front of my computer. I'm sad to know that this serie is on hiatus because of the bad health of her author (maybe she has recovered since the time ed... I wished it.) as I've seen on the team's scan website : "After completing volume 4, Kim Woo Hyun's poor health forced the series to be put on hiatus. That was in 2004. We've been unable to find any more recent reports about her condition or the status of the series. Sad as it is to be unable to read Vanilla Ice after volume 4, it's even sadder that such a wonderfully talented writer and artist is ill."
