Art isn't great but you get used to it soon enough. Keep reading for the story.
Hey, this is not a serie, they are related separated works. I don't agree with this presented as a whole, is very difficult to rate and to follow what is read and what not. Just check the covers, they have different titles, please split it.
This comic was actually very enjoyable. Her shitty art even got better! Still needs work though. The characters actually felt realistic and I did laugh a couple times. Shouta's adorable and his connection with Whatever-the-hell-the-uke's-name-was is heartwarming and cute. And his relationship with his seme? Ehhhhhh…not so much. And Chiharu didn't want to make me eat a hammer this time! Even the main pairing's kinda hot. The sex scenes are still bad though. This story defiantly stands out from all her previous works! I recommend you read it! And it MUST be good if I'M saying it!
Don't think I'm getting a soft spot for Fujisaki Kou. I still hate her guts…and her pencil…
I will comment in favor of this manga. The art didn't distract me from the story because I think I've seen much worse. There are definite issues in proportionality/perspective/etc., but the characters' expressions never fell flat and the pages were laid out nicely. I'm more likely to set a manga aside because of a confusing or dull story or unlikable characters. The pacing in this manga was really nice, and the characters were engaging. I liked the main couple a lot and thought Shouta was adorable. I had a few unanswered questions, but nothing which majorly took away from the plot. I would recommend this for a nice read, and I'm looking forward to the sequels!
Most others already states this but I will too just so you get the picture...
the art is hilarious!
It's certainly a matter of taste but I'm one of those who think her art style is just so unappealing!
Her characters look like mentally handicapped gorilla mutants.... those mouths! And not to
mention the proportion of the bodies...
I actually laugh out loud several times while reading Fujisaki Kou manga because you never know when you will turn a page and one of those extra awkward abominations is going to jump you!
While the fun factor of the art is something not necessarily negative, the question is how that
affects an originally serious story...
The stories aren't bad but, having to laugh at the art during not funny moments, and above else, not being able to see the characters' "beauty", their emotions, being able to feel with them through it is a downer. Instead I see chars making weird faces.
This manga in particular, I also can't say I liked the characters in general. Aside from their faces,
especially Toudou is such an incredibly unappealing guy! No, okay, I'm really not sure if his gorilla looks or his personality are worse... I just don't see how he would be attractive to anyone.
He's described as a really handsome man.... it sort of sucks when you, as a reader, can't see that.
Either way, the art gets more refined (but still plenty weird) at chapter 3... AHHH nose perspective!!
I wouldn't particularly recommend this to anyone, but it's not horrible either, if you can stand the art......... then again, maybe you'll have a good laugh because of it.....
Fujisaki Kou may one day come up with a really good idea for a BL plot, but it wouldn't matter because her art style is so aesthetically unappealing. Granted, this is my personal opinion. Some people may like her unique style. Some of those people may be legally blind... Jk but seriously, the incorrect proportions Fujisaki uses makes the characters' bodies look grotesque. It looks like every single character has a Bubba-style under bite. Not. Cute. The bodies are huge and the heads look like they're shrunken. Think the end of Beetle Juice when Michael Keaton's head is shrunk by that shaman. Uh ya. It's bad. I could go on. (Is this mangaka actually popular in Japan?)
Yes, the art style is'nt good, but the story make up for it,
The story is really good, if you read till chapter 2 you won't want to stop for sure !!
I droped this serie so many time because of it's bad art :/ but i really regrette it now for now reading it sooner 😀
Thanks to Junjoubisexuelwithout her i would never have read it !.
I really recomande it !!
the art is so freaking horrible hahaha
so much that it makes me laugh!!!, i mean like literaly, there were scenes that made me go LOL!!!
it's so bad that's funny! hahaha , omg im so mean ahhah..
but the story it's nice.. i dunno it's just something light for a sunday afternoon.. i liked how it was told and.. i dunno i did liked it =), it was also funny so.. not bad ^-^.. and did i mention steamy? well it is..LOL only the bad art kind of spoils it all.. but everything else was fine =)
It's a refreshing story! The characters are cute! I loved it to bits! The only reason I won't give it 10/10 is the weird art... Though the faces and neck are well drawn, the bodies are gorilla like xD. Still, I liked it very much. Got hooked, and when I had to stop reading it for 2 hours, I got slightly frustrated. Really great.
