Erm, so they got together or did they decided to just stay close to one another as siblings. The ending is too open ended. The destiny speech wasn't really a closure to the story at all. Even though I read incest, I don't it so please say they just stay close as siblings.

The incest was completely unnecessary

Look, I'm not going to say I have nothing against incest. When I came into this manga I literally went in blind and I expected nothing of the sort, such as incest, to occur. Frankly, it shouldn't have. I think that the incest element was just an attempt by the author to do something different to the typical shojos out there, which she would have done so had she carried out the cram school idea fully. Even here I think she struggled. The multitude of men falling for the main character was unbelievable and the chapters preceding the revelation were dramatic and confusing enough. I recommend to by this manga, its not worth it.

It's not really clear for me.

Who is the girl in the last page of the last chapter. Is it the Mashiro, main character, or Ai's kid, whose name was given after Mashiro, the younger sister Ai loved?? I dunno... :/

Yep, for me this one just another standard shoujo manga, with a bit of twist in the end.

For a manga that has incest as one of its categories, IMO the mangaka is failed to portray it. The problem that they're blood-related siblings didn't kick at all for me. For a romance genre, incest is a good material, because it's shocking and not an ordinary thing, but IMO this one failed to exploit it. For that one, compared to Koi Kaze and Flowers of Evil, this one is nothing. Even compared to some oneshots contain incest category that I have read...

That's for incest. For other things, at least, for me, nothing special.

The artwork doesn't suit my taste, but it's neat, simple, and clean, thus not bad.

I liked the story, as its very unique. However, I'm not quite sure if I really like the ending. I feel sorry that they

can't be together because they are siblings but at the same time, the ending seems to show that they still

end up together. As much as I sympathize with ! incest relationships that have two agreeing adults , I'm not really too sure if I'm satisfied with the ending. It seems at the end

Ai calls out to "Mashiro," who is different from the grown up Mashiro. The "Mashiro" Ai calls out to seems to be a child, short and with short straight hair that looks like the main character Mashiro when she was in 3rd year of middle school. I'm assuming that either the author would like to refer back to the innocent relationship the two had, therefore drawing the two at their original ages at the beginning of the manga, or either Ai had a daughter named Mashiro as well. The ending is confusing to me in general...

You won't be disappointed with how moving this story is. Mashiro and Ai do not have your typical schematic relationship. While Mashiro develops into an indomitable spirit, that you just can't help loving and Ai goes from a lifeless abstract to a meaningful being.

Unexpectedly unique

Update (after completing the manga):
After reading a few chapters further, it was disappointing that would got me really excited about the series wasn't explored in more depth. The male love interest could have been fascinating after the revelation in volume 2, and yet he was so diluted after the initial shocker that he quickly became bland. The mangaka attempts to rescue the plot with another huge plot twist, and yet that only succeeded in adding cliche to the formula.

Both the cover and summary led me to anticipate a typical fluffy shoujo read, but volume 2 has certainly changed this perception. Given the age and simplicity of the female lead along with the innocent nature of their relationship, I would never have expected the male love interest to be so unique and multi-faceted as a character. This gritty/real-world sort of angst-driven premise is also something that isn't really encountered in shoujo manga. It's as if the innocent, pure love found in shoujo manga were infused into the mature world of josei manga, and that's what makes this series a truly intriguing read. I'm looking forward to volume 3 with great enthusiasm.
